you can work real hard or just fantasize, but you don't start living till' you realize....

god gave rock and roll to you. true story.

twice in one night, i know, i know.
can you believe i turned down the pub when the alternative is staying in alone? i can - because i know me. its not that im addicted or even truly that interested in the internet, im past my fascination with myspace and facebook really, and i certainly dont play world of war craft - but the thing is, im just not up to it! im 18, and im not up to it. though, having said that - ive only entered a pub for anything other than food with the family once - we bought 'Yoda's' which turned out to be satisfyingly disgusting, and lime green in colour, then buggered off home. i love spending time with people, going out, talking to crazy old rockers on the buses - but pubs just arnt my thing, especially around here. i like going out to mass camps, group meetings - bloody scout camps! they were the best... not pubs... not anywhere you have to have do your hair to be honest.
im tired; bath then bed i think - and ill take the lovely David Starkey with me for some reading :) perhaps a cup of tea...
was anyone else cooler when they were 12? dear me.

and she's back on the ice cream.

(Carte D'or coconut - oh my my.)

Reading through my previous posts - anyone who has happened to come across this profile probably thinks that all i do is read, eat ice cream, complain about things i haven't explained properly - and worry about the mortality of characters / people in books who would be dead by now whether or not they were burned at the steak. the thing about websites like this is you only ever actually seem to go on them when you are out of your mind with boredom - that is unless you have some degree of commitment to it.
thats what i intend to do (yes future Sarah (who's probably alone, on a Saturday, eating ice cream and still in her pajamas), you did make that statement) maybe ill take a Bridget Jones approach - of course i wont weigh myself in... i loved that as a part of the book but for me to do it would be obscene, though the other thing is i'm just not sure WHAT exactly i do actually get up to in day to day life. i don't do sport apart from on a Sunday when i go climbing, i don't cook unless you count beans on toast as a culinary triumph, i don't go to dance classes or French classes or play a musical instrument... oh wow say - i've just realized how great that auto save function is, not that i've written anything particularly stirring in the last ten minutes, but what a great little function.
its seven days until christmas - ill try to have something more interesting between now and then. :)
